OpenAI, in collaboration with the Association of Independent Regional Press Publishers of Ukraine (AIRPPU) and the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), has unveiled a new program designed to support independent journalism in Ukraine through the application of artificial intelligence.
The initiative aims to equip Ukrainian news organizations with tools and knowledge to strengthen their innovation capabilities, build resilience, and sustain independent reporting amid challenging conditions.
By leveraging AI technologies, the program seeks to help media outlets improve efficiency, explore new storytelling formats, and enhance their digital operations, ultimately contributing to a more robust and independent media landscape in Ukraine.
