Manus has announced a new Video Editor as part of Manus 2.0, under the tagline that anyone can now make a video worth posting. The announcement is framed around a simple premise: a great shot is not a video yet.
The release is split into two parts. In the first, Manus positions itself as producing the whole video rather than isolated clips. For creators, it searches the web for ideas; for general users, it builds every piece and writes code for the rest; and for marketing teams, it already knows the brand. According to the company, one sentence can generate any kind of video.
The second part introduces the Video Editor itself, described as giving users the final cut. Users can drag elements themselves or simply ask Manus to do it, while creators can start from their own footage.
Manus also highlights access to the tool anytime and anywhere, with a closing note of "less structure, more intelligence." The announcement does not include pricing, availability dates, or technical specifications.
